Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.

Sorry about the hurried post I made previously (The Trouble With Tremors). Allow me to provide greater detail on what I’ve been throwin’ around the ol’ noggin’…

I e-mailed a clinic in Poland that have been performing angioplasty on persons with MS (pwMS) . They wrote me back saying that I’m now on the waiting list for 2011. Which is frighteningly close. I dunno – I understand that there is potential that there is a narrowing severe enough that a metal stent may need to be used. I also understand that it may have no impact whatsoever. That, to me, is something that has the SAME chances as every med I’ve taken. There’s always a  chance it will do nothing. But…

I’m not getting any better watching the CDN Health-Care community rub their hands together, keeping the door open for PharmaBuck$… it is all growing tiring and wearisome. I’m not a conspiracy theorist or anything like that… but I’ve seen how a profitable business is run. First in / first out, JIT Inventory, etc. etc. ad nauseum- it’s all ABOUT the money, FOR the money. With OUR money. And they are selling meds that are reponsive maybe 2/3rds of the time.

Wow. What a business model. Never-ending marketspace with an imperfect product. Let a ‘competitor’ into the fold and suddenly there aren’t as many asses to fuck. Sheer brilliance.

I can’t wrap my head around why else they would be preventing people from even having the scans to attempt to identify a blockage in YOUR JUGULAR and AZYGOUS veins. I know the lengths you go to to hold your business in place. But I sold hydraulic & pneumatic hose. Their commodity is of far greater worth.

can’t you fake a problem to get a doppler or ‘test’ done to see … silly question but desparation leads to certain measures… no? call me crazy …

you are right A – it’s mind boggling as to why they won’t set up apts with people …absolutely mind boggling…Numbing in fact.

It is sad to see the health of the human race handled like any other business. What fails to be seen is that health of any being is not a commodity or anything that can be profited from. It is a neccessity that deserves compassionate and thought. Poland 2011!

Andrew, this is great news re Poland.
Nothing to lose – everything to gain!
    Please keep me posted.

I agree with comments re ‘human industry’ – this is not news – but it is so true – health care is a money maker big time for government in North America – you are caught in a cog.
