2 years, 5 months, 24 days

That’s how long it’s been since I’ve left Calgary. While it was necessary, it was far – so very far – from what I desired. Like everything else in my life, instead of looking at the bad parts of it, I choose instead to think about all the good that’s come my way since returning to Montreal. There are many, oh-so-many little pieces of good that make up the last couple of years. Lately, though, I’ve just been missing My Home.
I miss 10 o’clock sunsets.
I miss cool Calgary evenings.
I miss having a panoramic view of some of the most majestic mountain ranges I’ll ever see.
I miss the perfect mix of big-city vs. small-town that Calgary pulls off so effortlessly.
I miss my friends.
100 days ’til the plane hits the tarmac at #yyc – won’t get here soon enough!

Hey Andrew, just ran across your blog. I’m enjoying what you’ve got so far, and I dropped it into my RSS reader.

Hopefully we’ll get a chance to see you when you make your pilgrimage our west. Keep us all posted.
